The Farm Experience
Catch and release fishing at our private stocked pond, a short walk from your suite via the farm trail.
Drive or walk the half-mile gravel road to our James River entrance. Swim, fish, or simply sit at the water's edge and take in the horseshoe bend.
Cattle in the pastures, dogs on the porch, and cats underfoot. A real working farm — the animals are part of the stay.
Ground-floor access to the shared patio area with a fire pit and farm views — step outside and you're already on the farm.
Over a mile of combined trails and farm roads to explore on foot, bike, or by car. The whole 106 acres is yours.
In season, the James River Batteau Co. hosts farm-to-batteau dinners at our river landing. Featured in Virginia Living & Smithsonian Magazine.
